Animals can serve to put one in the moment which was the inspiration for this photograph. The simple perspective allows one to focus on the expression of the horse. Thus, the subject of the image becomes the observer, resulting in the feeling of peace and presence.

I am a retired physician living in Denver, Colorado. I grew up in Huntington Beach, California and spent summers at the beach. I graduated from UCLA School of Medicine and began my career as a physician in diagnostic radiology. Photography became my creative outlet and way of relaxing.
