This piece is an experimentation with color and organic shapes. I was looking at horizons and playing around with blended lines to recreate the feel of a vast ocean scene. This is very atypical of my normal work, but I think it is important to constantly push your own boundaries and step out of you comfort zone.

I enjoy bringing details and texture to our sleek and streamlined world. I delight in juxtapose of old and new. Sometimes that perfect detail is found in a simple block of color, where the very richest cerulean carries your heart to the sea; and other times it is found in a precise pattern that energizes and excites the mind.
