Between the harbor and the open ocean lies a sandspit. Still on one side and wild on the other, sand moves in waves, always changing. With this painting, I hope to suspend the viewer in a visual state between fluid motion and absolute calm.

With the mountains and sea both at her doorstep, her work is largely influenced by motion: physical landscape, energy, and sound all playing a large role in what is eventually translated to the finished piece.
