I love using big abstract shapes and overlapping textures. This was inspired by my mixed media paintings and remind me of rock forms calmly settling after a disruption. The softness of the colour palette and textures juxtaposes with the big angular shapes, something I'm always interested in. Its sister print is Settling 2.

Francesca has been licensing her work for publishing for a number of years, as well as creating her own prints for wall art.
She mainly creates by hand and colours digitally, although recently she’s been drawn to traditional methods, including paint and paper collage to create abstract works.
Francesca is the recipient of the Minted Emerging Fine Artist of the Year 2019.
She lives in London with her husband and two boys. less
