About the work

This painting celebrates memories of summer; days that feel as though time has stopped while you quietly absorb the warmth around you and gaze at so many shades of green. A reminder of time spent listening to birds, insects, and frogs happily singing, watching grasses sway in the warm breeze and clouds gracefully float overhead. Inspired by a slow afternoon drive across rural southern Minnesota.
