As we stumbled upon this black sand beach at Lake Tahoe, I was immediately drawn to the drama and contrast as waves came crashing in on the soft golden sand. I wanted to capture that rushing, blurry beauty of a wave and while doing so I could picture the images as a trio of abstract art to add a modern momentum to any room.
