One of my favorite beaches has these huge boulders scattered out to sea like confetti. At high tide you can't see any of them, but as the water recedes they slowly appear one by one, until the beach is covered with little tidal worlds. We spent a wonderful week there exploring and splashing in the chilly June waters.
