About the work
Another painting that is part of my “Warm Collection” of creams, sienna’s, gold’s, greys, and whites. I love this hung vertical or horizontal. This warm palette is calming and quiets all the noise. This painting was created on a 48x60 canvas with large brush strokes of saturated acrylic paint.

As an artist, painting can be tormenting and sublime at the same time. I'm a big risk taker, experimenting with different materials to layer, stain, scrap and saturate color on large canvases. My most successful work is complex yet minimal. Some of my work achieves a sense of fluid movement with saturated color, while my newer collection is so textured it is like frosting. The end result should be a painting that will spiritually and emotionally capture, calm, and elevate us.
