Brazilian mixed-media artist Bethania currently lives and works in Uruguay, where she is inspired by observation, curiosity, imagination, connection, doubt, reflection, passion, and contemplation. Her iterative practice is both loose and logical - she often starts exploring ideas by doodling, which she then categorizes by shape in a digital library. This sense of discovery is reflected in her body of work, which invites the viewer to be curious and find joy in uncovering intimate connections between seemingly disparate things.
