Each oyster shell photo holder is a unique, hand crafted work of art. Oyster shells are hand selected based on exceptionality, shape, and color. Silver leaf accentuates the individual characteristics and compliments the natural color of each oyster. A resin coating enhances the inherent luster of each shell as if freshly harvested from the ocean. The protective resin ensures the gleam of the silver leaf does not tarnish over time. Due to the unique shape of each shell, each clip is meticulously placed to ensure the clip stands and the natural beauty of the shell is optimized.

We were inspired in 2014 while visiting the Jungle Gardens of Avery Island, the birthplace of Tabasco, in south Louisiana.

    about the artist

    byAnna Sibley

    Dallas, TX

Born and raised in Louisiana, I love (most) everything seafood. Although I do not eat oysters, I'll gladly receive them. After getting married two years ago, my husband and I picked up from Louisiana and moved to sunny California. I love gardening, my friends and family, and flowers. I am a registered dental hygienist with a wild hair for oyster art.
