My painting style is contemporary, yet my subject matter evokes a nostalgic feeling. I have a simplistic approach to my paintings, and use bold color with contrasting light and shadow to transport my viewer to a certain time of day. Structures with history intrigue me most, and I try to capture them on canvas before the landscape changes forever.
