My sister moved to the coast this year, so there have been multiple visits to the ocean. I have had to adjust not having her nearby but I have enjoyed visiting her in such a coastal habitat. The addition of lavender to a more coastal color palette is inspired by my feeling about the whole process. A little sadness, a little sweetness, and a new experience is how I would describe it. This painting was painted using acrylic paint, and has a spray finish. The canvas comes wired to hang and will be signed by me.
