Inspiration: 
A life can be seen as the process of unfolding. We start as children with a dream of who we might become - a future astronaut, surgeon, actor. But a million things will happen along the way, and whether or not we reach that original goal is really beside the point. And what if we do reach that goal? Are we then done? Who can we still become at the age of 35? Or 50? Or 79? The process of painting has taught me this: if you start with the end in mind and the path fully plotted, the journey is often not very exciting. But if you start with a desire and ask yourself “what if?” then you will most likely get somewhere incredible - better than you could’ve ever dreamed. And you can keep asking “what if?”, every day. With every new desire. With every new painting. And unfold, unfold, unfold.
