Some of my favorite summer memories as a child and teen were made at amusement parks, carnivals, and fairs. The sheer joy of catching the view at the top of the ferris wheel and the laughter of hitting bumper cars with family and friends. Wandering the grounds playing games, sometimes resulting in carrying around a giant stuffed animal for the rest of the night. The smell of those mouthwatering funnel cakes and corn dogs. The wide-eyed fun of watching others fly through the air, rising, falling, spinning and grinning on rides that I admittedly wasn't brave enough to ride. These were days & evenings that felt so playful, innocent, simple, vibrant and alive. Alas, I hope this this cheerful, whimsical, pastel colored image of the iconic Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier transports your little one of any age away to their own memories from happy days of amusement park play.
