About the work
This is a block print animal series of prints featuring a cheetah, Dalmatian and a giraffe. Painted with acrylic paint on hand carved stamps using potato cuts. A technique close to my heart. My grandmother, always the ingenious one, could entertain me for hours with this art activity. And how fitting it is to create something for others that I enjoyed as a child.

As a child war refugee I used imagination to create stories and wrap myself in them. As an architect same imagination created magical spaces. As a mother I became someone new and all the stories produced these images that I am sharing with you. They are production of time, memories but mostly the greatest and most unconditional of loves.
