About the work

While in Mexico a while back I fell in love with all the natural cactus plants that are native to the habitat. When I came home home I sketched, doodled and painted cactus for weeks. This Blooming Cactus piece is from my collection and I just love the way the watercolor and light really create a sense of movement and purpose.
