About the work

My landscapes are all inspired by the land I grew up near in Iowa. My color palette was inspired by the rolling green fields in the springtime. I use a minimal approach to my composition so it gives a modern take on a traditional landscape. Even as a print, you can see brush stokes and texture within the painting.
