About the work

La Jolla Cove sits just north of San Diego and is loved for its picturesque turquoise waters and dramatic, rugged coastline. The combination of these elements results in a vibrant, jewel toned shoreline dotted with powerful wave break. While strolling along the path high above the coastline, I loved watching the layers of rich color shift with the white sea foam resulting in beautiful abstract patterns. As the second of four available photographs in my "La Jolla Shores" collection, I hope that this piece inspires a sense of whimsical coastal tranquility in your space reminiscent of a day spent wandering by the sea.
