Carmel is a contemporary abstract acrylic painting. The colors were inspired by my recent trip to Carmel in October. I took long walks along the beach and took in the soothing colors of the overcast skies, the blue-green ocean waves and soft gray sand. This art will look wonderful in a contemporary space.

I call the San Francisco Bay Area home, where I live with my husband. We have two adult sons who reside in San Diego. Painting large abstract works fills me with joy—it’s a liberating experience to immerse myself physically in the process.
