About the work
Carmel is a contemporary abstract acrylic painting. The colors were inspired by my recent trip to Carmel in October. I took long walks along the beach and took in the soothing colors of the overcast skies, the blue-green ocean waves and soft gray sand. This art will look wonderful in a contemporary space.

The San Francisco Bay Area, is where I am sheltering at home with my husband and college bound son. My older son works in Los Angeles. Paint colors, shapes and textures bring me happiness and carry me to a whole new world. I am grateful painting allows me to escape the realities of the pandemic. I look forward to being able to paint theater sets with my comrades at WVLO again.
