About the work

This piece reminds me of the end of a long summer day when I was a child. We used to play in the dark-red clay soil, roll in the grass and grind dandelion weeds on the concrete to see the yellow hue. Usually, a combination of those colors would be smeared all over our clothes by the end of the day.
