About the work

We were on our way to the Isle of Skye, when I called out 'pull over, pull over!' We got out of the car to bask in the quiet glory of the landscape. Rays of light filtered softly through the clouds, illuminating the rolling hills and loch in muted tones of green, yellow and ochre. There is a intentional soft focus in the image, adding to the dreamy sensation.
