About the work
This invigorating abstract painting captures the essence of a vibrant, bustling tropical coastline. Using a combination of acrylic inks, fluid, and heavy body acrylics, I layered, scraped and drew the inks across the canvas to create this rich composition inspired by my love of the ocean and the lively, energizing seaside towns I've visited through the years.

My aesthetic is ever-changing. Ethereal-light-reflective and playful one moment, industrial-modern-gritty-urban the next. I find it so difficult to limit myself to any one style because I like to be surrounded by contrasting elements in my own environment. A painting should evoke emotion in its owner every time he or she looks at it. When I create my paintings, I envision them in someone’s home and hope that each piece brings as much joy to its new owner as it did to me during its creation.
