Have you ever seen a fog bank or a smoke plume against an otherwise clear sky? In a painting exploring the shapes of the atmosphere, I sought to capture the quick movement and dissipating clouds in fast, fluid brushstrokes, portraying movement in an otherwise still setting.

With the mountains and sea both at her doorstep, her work is largely influenced by motion: physical landscape, energy, and sound all playing a large role in what is eventually translated to the finished piece.
