About the work

This drawing was made after my daughter had a fall at gymnastics, resulting in a sprained ankle. I was looking at the bandages and the way they were wrapped up and it inspired me to make this drawing. The bands and lines are all drawn with varying spaces in between, creating a bit more tension.
