We knew the sunset was going to be glorious, with the corals and peaches reflecting off the water in the tidal marshlands, so we had planned to go exploring. What we didn't know was that a strawberry moon awaited us a few hours later on a nighttime ocean walk on the other side of the peninsula. That was a spur of the moment idea that turned out to be best one of the week.
