This impressionist landscape featuring an expansive moody sky painted in acrylics was inspired by my favorite season which is actually in-between seasons. When last season's palette is starting to peal away to reveal the new colors ready to bloom. A fine mist lies just over the ground, somewhat obscuring what new sky is emerging. There's a sense of peace in the air, holding its breath, taking time before the energy of the new season takes over.
