Memories from our childhood are often clear and hazy at the same time. This piece captures that juxtaposition in a palette that was inspired by my two favorite sweaters in middle school. Somehow the colors in those sweaters are incredibly sharp in my mind, though I have no real memory of where they came from or what happened to them. The memories float, as do the shapes in this piece, forming a warm cocoon of good feelings.
