About the work

This print is the first in a set of 2; each works well as a standalone piece or can be used as a pair. This original composition was created with fluid acrylics and water. The rich pigments in the color and viscous nature of the media allowed for mixing of the hues in a manner similar to watercolor, charming in its unpredictability. It resulting layered affect, accented by lines of metallic paint, was inspired by a sense of adventurism and experimentation.
