Showered in Sunshine I and II are a pair of abstract landscape paintings that share a continuous horizon with shapes in the foreground leading up to the middle of the canvas. It’s a study of organic shapes and color that have the appearance of being washed with bright sunlight. The paintings are layered with color using a brush and palette knife. The detail is in the foreground which starts to diminish towards the uncomplicated horizon and sky.
