Finding sheets of stamps intact has always been a goal of mine while searching through antique stores and local shops. Inspired by my collection, this piece combines a nautical feel with hints of love throughout. The idea of a love knot, handwritten note and a forever stamp evoke the feeling of a personal connection. Finding boxes of old family letters and sitting around telling stories of past generations is represented through a simple stamp icon, and reminds us of the lost art of the handwritten letter.
