About the work

This art print was inspired by my love of nature and flowers. It is an abstract rendering of a photograph I took of roses in my yard last summer. I had a lot of fun experimenting with the layout and balance of the flowers. I performed many post photo edits to get the impressionist feel I wanted and then hand drew the final flowers and digitized them. I am fond of the end result and feel there is a beautiful synergy between the two blooms and hope you enjoy it as well.
