This piece was largely inspired by the summer road trips. Using my favorite collage technique to create an abstract landscape of mountains and lake. Collage works great for finding ways to simplify the forms and extract essential elements. Limited number of colors, opaque and semi-transparent paper turn into a minimalist piece conveying the colors or night, mountains giving off day's heat and the coolness of moonlit skies.
