About the work

Apple blossoms are one of the highlights of the spring season for me. Their gentle beauty is only accentuated by their relatively short lifespan. Timing is key to capturing these florals in the height of their colour and form. This photo was taken at the local orchard that is just down the road from where I live. It is the perfect place to find a variety of different apple blossoms; I can lose myself in the loveliness that envelops me every time I enter!
