I start all of my work by creating hand-painted papers. Whether creating small paper collages or larger mixed-media paintings, these papers inspire me endlessly. This painting fills me with the same feeling of wonder and possible magic that I have when exploring new places. And it makes me think of Monument Valley. Of what I hope it feels like when I finally see it in person. Monument 1 pairs beautifully with Monument 2.
