About the work
Bold and elegant, this piece is powerfully eye catching yet calming in it's minimalism. I created this on a particularly stormy early fall day and as the cold front moved in across Flathead Lake, I imagined a garden bloom after a downpour, still vibrant in its color but dripping with tiny little prisms of water droplets.

My aesthetic is ever-changing. Ethereal-light-reflective and playful one moment, industrial-modern-gritty-urban the next. I find it so difficult to limit myself to any one style because I like to be surrounded by contrasting elements in my own environment. A painting should evoke emotion in its owner every time he or she looks at it. When I create my paintings, I envision them in someone’s home and hope that each piece brings as much joy to its new owner as it did to me during its creation.
