About the work
Two of my favorite things are the beach and old barns. This painting captures both! A beautiful old barn set in the dunes by the beach. The light is always beautiful at dusk on the dunes without the distraction of tall buildings. It creates a magical mood, and that's what I wanted to capture in this painting, Plum Dusk.
