About the work

Do you have a dream inside you? What dreams have you forgotten? Who were you at age 9? Who did you want to be when you grew up? I made this image at the tail end of a client's family portrait session. Everything was wrapping up and this young girl had grown tired of posing and wanted to explore. As she peered inside the playhouse her shadow appeared and asked for its own portrait to be made.
