About the work
The Tide Pool series was created from a desire to return to the ocean and all of the hidden treasures along her shores. A soothing, watery color palette is complimented by playful minty greens and pops of gold encouraging the viewer to take a moment and look closer. Pair with Tide Pool #1 and Tide Pool #2 for a captivating, beach-inspired, triptych.

My aesthetic is ever-changing. Ethereal-light-reflective and playful one moment, industrial-modern-gritty-urban the next. I find it so difficult to limit myself to any one style because I like to be surrounded by contrasting elements in my own environment. A painting should evoke emotion in its owner every time he or she looks at it. When I create my paintings, I envision them in someone’s home and hope that each piece brings as much joy to its new owner as it did to me during its creation.
