About the work

This simple geometrical drawing was inspired by architectural plans. It resembles a window in schematic drawings of buildings. This piece is drawn unusually for an artist on a ruler. It plays with subtleties, proportions, and line rhythm. I used many colors of crayons to contrast with the simple form, so it has a slightly minimalist-maximalist tension.
