About the work

Creating abstract, tissue paper collages has become my favorite medium to capture the essence of mid-century modern style while balancing youthfulness and sophistication through the use of a humble material. In "tissue mounds," the converging and overlapping semi-circle shapes yield a bright, playful composition that provides a textural injection of modern art into any space.
