About the work

I like the nostalgic pose of the model, as she wanted to rest with her thoughts out of the world. I used a very soft and delicate watercolor washes to express this so intimate mood. A quiet and cautious picture but full of strenght. The light and shadows are a main element of this nude drawing to make it work with the minimal watercolor washes. There is no previous line drawing and that makes it looks so bright and clean.
