About the work
I love the changing of seasons in the Northeast, and this painting captures the warmer light of Spring and its beautiful landscape. This barn seemed to welcome the warmth of the sun upon its weathered surface. When painting this subject, I used warm tones to try and recreate the feeling of Spring.
