I painted this Scottish terrier in profile to highlight his classic pose with his short body and terrier tail, nose in the air. I used watercolor to show his snazzy haircut and the shading of his fur. Because he is a black dog, he almost appears in silhouette. The painting is simple and simultaneously detailed.
