For as long as I can remember, I have always loved studying plants up close. Often in my work, the focus behind the lens is to consider a subject in a more abstract form In this study of tropical leaves, I hunted for leaves juxtaposed one against another to offer a multitude of patterns. Hi! I am Alicia and I live in Kansas City. My work varies from landscapes, portraiture to even found vintage objects. My approach behind the lens is often playful as as I find myself looking for the whimsical or nuanced. My hope is to create a little more room for fun and connection. I love to travel with my family, entertain and garden.
