About the work
It's rare that we get a perfect fluffy snow in the city - so on this winter day, I grabbed my camera and headed out to a nearby park to enjoy the magical feeling. This softly toned image captures snowflakes gently falling on a snow covered hill surrounded by trees. The sepia toned black and white images have softly blurred edges with a sharp centre of focus which gives the photo art pair a toy-like yet elegant vintage nostalgia. Part of a series, this print pairs perfectly with Play on a Winters Day 2, which includes the distant figures of a parent and child, ready to walk back up the tree lined hill for another run.
