About the work

Lotus has always been one of my favorite photography motifs - the flowers bloom elegantly, and the shapes of leaves are very striking. I caught this perfect moment in a summer afternoon, when the lotus leaves danced with the wind, and the intense sunshine cast beautiful shadows on the leaves. What attracted me most were the almost-abstract shapes painted by light and shadow.
