I’ve always been drawn to the way movement and stillness coexist in the ocean. Tides of Motion was taken in Waikiki, where the waves roll endlessly, framed by the pulse of the city. I wanted to reimagine the classic surfer shot—capturing not just the sport, but the quiet intensity of a moment in motion. The lone female surfer stepping forward, the blurred rush of water, the city skyline in the background—it all came together in a way that felt both fleeting and timeless.
