About the work

This picture is part of a larger collection showing the beautiful landscapes of Iceland. When taking this picture I was intrigued by the wonderful forms of the icebergs of the glacier lagoon of Jökulsárlón. The play of the light on the several elements make them very special. The ice bergs become a very soft textured structure. My eyes are always attracted to interesting compositions of motifs. Here I captured a wonderful play of light in the pieces of the ice.
