About the work
I was inspired by the contrast of modern, blue glass windows with the wispy plants surrounding this small art gallery in the middle of Marfa, Texas. It seemed to both stand out entirely from the desolate landscape but also fit so perfectly at the same time. This piece is a counterpart to "Ballroom 1", taken at the same location.
