Angular Organic is a mixed media piece inspired by weathered, reclaimed wood. I wanted to capture the feeling of distressed wood into an angular pattern. The original piece was hand drawn with ink , painted with watercolors, and blended with textures from the original painting to create to more depth.

Hello! I'm Jennifer. I love shapes, lines, and all things minimal. Inspiration comes to me from architecture, jewelry, textures and sometimes my son's Magnatile creations. I am a bit obsessed with paper. Folding it, cutting it, sewing it, sometimes literally putting into the blender to make new paper, all serve as a meditative process and help me to see new ideas.
